Wiring Access Location: PC3, 4

Equipment Required:

Wrenches: 17mm, 19mm

Existing weldnuts

If present, remove the tie down brackets from vehicle frame rail. Return bolts and tie down bracket to owner.

1. Raise hitch into position and install fasteners as shown above.

2. Tighten all fasteners with torque wrench to 68 Lb.-Ft. (92 N*M)

Tighten all M12 CL8.8 fasteners with torque wrench to 68 Lb.-Ft. (92 N*M)

Qty. (4) Flat washer ½”

Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to

prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working

beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.

This product complies with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5

and SAE J684.

Use flat washers (items 3)

as needed as spacer if

trunk reinforce interferes

with hitch installation.

For vehicles with appearance

panel:

Remove appearance panel which

covers the trunk pan.

(2)10mm

Remove the plastic rivets that

fasten the fascia tabs to the

vehicle. Note: Remove the center

of the rivet with a screwdriver.

Rivets to be reinstalled.

Return appearance panel and

fasteners to vehicle owner.
